The first trailer for Dark Phoenix, the next installment in the revamped X-Men movies, was released last night and it gives us a glimpse at the circumstances that lead to Jean Grey, played by Game of Thrones alum Sophie Turner becoming the world-ending threat that is the Phoenix.

The animated origin story for Optimus Prime, Megatron, and the Transformers race breathes new life into the franchise, even surpassing 2023’s Rise of the Beasts. The voice cast is packed, but Brian Tyree Henry and Keegan-Michael Key rise above the rest.
The next entry in the franchise shows off with atmosphere, cinematography, and sound design. Even with a few questionable choices in the script, the film is still a worthy and scary ride.
The Killer’s Game is a fun action comedy medley. Overly graphic and well aware of itself, yet a refreshing continuation of the genre and clearly inspired by Tarantino and Stahelski.
